Why I am not a good mother

Last glimpse of R (aged 9) disappearing through the school gate on his first day back after the summer break: trousers ending eight inches above the socks.

you will not be a good mother, for the simply fact of you to be a father...one can never be the other...no matter how much they try...it is vain.

This is may be a slightly personal question, but me and a few lads at work have been following your blog and we all think what you are doing out there is beyond incredible. My girlfriend thinks you're just amazing lol hands down I don't blame her! But out of curiosity, have you considered marrying? If you have not Yet done so? How beautiful would it be if god found that awesome girl who was sent just to be by your side! I have plenty of Christian friends if you're interested! Lol I'm praying this for you...I assume you wouldn't mind...

Hey Josh - don't worry about personal questions (I'm half Brazilian now and am getting used to the frankness!). It would indeed be great to be able to love and serve a girl who shared the same vision as me. The difficulty is making the time to be open to something (and someone) when I barely have time for myself. Such (sadly) are the needs of the kids I serve and the drastic shortage of real (ie 24/7) helpers here fuels it. I am flattered by your comments about my little efforts, though! You encourage me.

Hi Luke,
God knows the desires of your heart...and I know the girl he has chosen for you will share the same vision as you bro! It would be heart warming and beautiful if the same beauty and compassion, not to mention the simple awesomeness (plus your handsome looks-my gf encouraged me to write that) that is within you, was passed onto the future Mr and Mrs simone kids! World watch out :-) i'm going to stop sounding like a mother now lol! All our love!
